Hobart Serves Up Products to Support Pizzerias at International Pizza Expo® 2010
From mixing and baking to cleaning and storage, Hobart is
serving it all up at the International Pizza Expo® in Las Vegas March 2-4.
Visitors to Hobart booth #429 can experience the latest editions of the popular
HCM450 cutter mixer and HSL180 spiral mixer, along with the new patent-pending
ENERGY STAR® qualified AM Select Ventless warewasher, Baxter baking products
and Traulsen refrigeration. For the fifth consecutive year, attendees can
register to win a one-of-a-kind, custom-painted “Ignite the Passion” edition
60-quart Hobart Legacy® Pizza Mixer (model HL662) and participate in the World
Pizza Games sponsored by Hobart.
Hobart’s HCM 450 45-quart Cutter Mixer is a food processor
and mixer in one, ideal for cutting, mixing, blending or emulsifying. Liquid
product can be continuously added to the mix through a pour-through center
shaft with the cover closed, and a wide, shallow bowl allows for easy access.
In addition, the bowl-tilt lever enables the unit to be tipped to a 90-degree
angle for easy pouring and product removal.
Hobart continues to showcase the HSL180 and HSL220 spiral
mixers, which debuted in 2009. Designed specifically for the unique,
high-quality dough needs of large pizzerias, bakeries and commissaries, the spiral
mixer combines the action of the spinning dough hook and the rotating bowl.
This design lets the ingredients mix faster, limiting oxidation and generating
superior-quality dough.
Hobart’s new AM Select Ventless warewasher, featured in the
“new products showcase” at the Pizza Expo, is the first ventless door-type warewasher
featuring energy recovery. Using only 0.74 gallons of water per rack, the new
AM Select cleans and sanitizes dishware and heavily soiled pots and pans, and
can save more than $5,000 in energy recovery, reduced HVAC use and the
elimination of a vent hood and fan installation.
Hobart also plans to feature the versatile Baxter deck oven.
With independent settings that allow for separate heating of the top and bottom
of the decks as well as separate operation of each deck, the Baxter deck oven
combines specially designed heating elements and high-quality, atmospheric
steam to deliver the exact finish operators want.
Also slated to be on display is Traulsen’s A-Series
reach-in, self-contained refrigerator equipped with an optional wine-holding
interior. At 26 inches deep, the A-Series offers maximum interior storage
capacity within a slightly shallower footprint. The optional wine-holding
interior secures valuable wine products at ideal temperatures while the clear
glass door displays the products to customers. Other Traulsen products
scheduled to be at the Pizza Expo are the UST and VPS Series prep tables. The
UST sandwich prep table features a new split lid design that allows for more
energy-efficient operation during non-peak hours. VPS pizza/salad/sandwich prep
tables have a unique airflow design that ensures proper food temperature
storage, which accommodates overnight storage and minimizes cleanup time.
